After 25 years at the London Bar I settled in Perth in 2000 and took up painting again, I am still at it. My preferred media are oil and pastel and my favourite subjects are figures in the landscape (particularly urban) and portraiture. I very much enjoy painting en plein air and prefer to make small sketches in oil or watercolour than take photos when travelling. I have executed a significant number of commissions which I am always happy to discuss. I have had a number of solo exhibitions which have met with success and I regularly exhibit with the West Australian Society of Arts. I was Secretary of WASA for some 10 years and I was elected a life-member. I was until recently President of the Society. My studio is in Lansdowne Street, Jolimont.
