Hi there, I’m Romina - but you can call me Mimi. I am an artist based in Adelaide, Australia.
I was born in Rome, Italy, where I studied the art of painting with different mediums, such as acrylics, oils, soft pastels and even powdered colours. Another part of my painting studies included life drawing, which is a passion of mine to this day.
In 2008, I had my first experience with a group exhibition. It was at the St Angel’s Calste, in Rome. From this exhibition, my work was featured in a private collection in France.
Fast forward a few years, back in 2011, I decided to move down under in pursuit of artistic and personal growth. The beginning was tough. I had to set my passion aside for some time to settle in. But now I am back at it! I look forward to enriching the lives of my fellow art lovers and collectors.
I specialise in pets and figurative portraits and my chosen medium is acrylic paints. I love selling my art to clients directly so feel free to shop around my website or to get in touch!
