This painting is one of two in my series “Irreconcilable differences”. The painted 4 colour separation technique explores the complexity of individuality and circumstance, in this case, the series focuses on my parents and their divorce.
the scale of the paintings creates a sense of distortion and can feel overwhelming when you stand close to them, encouraging you to step back to gain a new perspective.

Both paintings are for sale but they were created to be sold separately as they were destined to be apart, just as my parents were.
